Just last month, Bryson Tiller let his fans know via his social media account that his forthcoming sophomore album True To Self is done, today he has followed up with not only the release date but three new tracks.
In this first track he released the sultry “Honey” produced by NES, Tiller lets his love interest know their is no need to be shy or hold back he’ll give her anything she wants all she has to do is ask.
“What you askin’? / Honey what you askin’? / Baby tell me what you askin’ for / Back and forth / She want that sticky slow like molasses / Slow, girl, slow, girl / Anything you want, you can have it / Honey, you a bad b*tch,” he sings.
Following up in the next release, Pen Griffey looks to get back on his “Rambo” flow in the Young Thug assisted track “Get Mine” as he reminds people he’s back and better than ever and looks to come for that top spot when he sings: “Post Trap Soul gettin’ back to it / No, ni**a, this ain’t no trap music / Soul, rhythm, blues with a slap to it / Watch how young Pen Griffey put his bat to it.”
In this next track “Somethin Tells Me”, the Louisville native slows it back down as he believes he has truly got something special with his love as he slowly starts things going downhill when he tries to save it when he sings: “My intuition has been telling me / Trust, what you said to me / You ain’t never really felt love ’til you slept with me / I’m busy, it’s no wonder you upset with me.”
With success of his debut album TRAPSOUL, we can’t wait to hear what he has next up for us in True To Self which he announced earlier today is available for pre-order on his website www.trapsoul.com.
