The wait is finally over! Mariah Carey taps YG for new single and breakup anthem “I Don’t”, freshly off of her season finale of docu-series Mariah’s World on E!.
In this new single, Mariah is ready to move off as she realizes she deserves much better in the Donell Jones “Where I Wanna Be” inspired single when she sings “But I’m tired of cryin’, no more tears / Pity party of the year / Cold at night cause you’re not here / Leaving you was my worst fear / I was caught up, I was… blind / You kept playin’ with my… mind / Told you I’m finished, gassed up the whip and… / Rearview, bye.”
Later in the track, YG tells his side of the story responding back to Carey when he raps “I know you love me / You just don’t trust me / You don’t understand me / But you love it when I call you Ms. Carey.”
In the visuals, Carey takes what it looks like to be her previous wedding dress and gets rid of it completely as she sets it on fire and watches it burn with pure joy. She is also seen wrapped in sexy wedding-like lingerie in the backseat of her ride while YG rides shotgun
The pop star is said to be currently working on her 15th studio album to be released sometime this year!
