Love ain’t love never easy, theirs plenty of up and downs but no matter you nothing can undo the two. Sevyn Streeter and Luke James join forces as the two bring soulfully single their rendition of D’Angelo and Lauryn Hill “Nothing Even Matters”.
In this cover, Sevyn kicks off her first verse as she lets her man know she’ll always be there no matter the time, place, or scenario when her silk vocals sings “Now the skies could fall / Not even if my boss should call / The world it seems so very small / Cause nothing even matters, at all / See nothing even matters.”
Luke later follows up in response to Sevyn when he lets her know how her love makes me feel as he smoothly sings “See, I don’t need no alcohol / Your love makes me feel ten feet tall / Without it I’d go through withdrawal / Cause nothing even matters, at all.”
As the cover goes on the two goes back and forth in sync expressing their love even ending up in a sharp falsetto that’ll send chills down your spine.
Outside of this new duet the both Sevyn And Luke were also seen last night (Feb.13th) along with Bridget Kelly, Elijah Kelley, Keith Powers, Algee Smith, and more supporting Ro James XIX Tour as he stopped in LA at The Roxy.
