Stream: Mack Wilds Releases New Project ‘After Hours’

Music ,

2017 is the year of the grind! As the very busy Mack Wilds follows up 2013 debut album New York: A Love Story with new LP After Hours.

This new 12-track project includes features from Tink (“Senses”), Wale (“Bonnie & Clyde”) which was released prior via SoundCloud, and Cam Wallace (“Vibes”), along with contributions from DJ Camper, Key Wane, Deputy The Mekanic, and more.

Jut last week the multi-talented singer/actor surprised fans with a little preview of the project with latest release “Explore”, where he sets the tone for what’s to come.

Wilds explained to GENIUS: “A lot of these songs, when I had a chance to actually record–they were recorded at night. While I was shooting ‘The Breaks’ and ‘Shots Fired,’ that was the only time I had to myself or to even get into the studio,” Mack told GENIUS. “I drew on inspiration that came from looking around and seeing how things change at night time, how things feel at night time. Text messages at 2 a.m. look different than text messages at 2 p.m. Break-ups feel different at night.”

If this new project along with the two shows isn’t enough Mack Wilds for you, he has also released a teaser for a visual series for After Hours premiering exclusively on Tidal next week Friday, April 14th.

After Hours is available on all digital media outlets and streamers now! Take a listen:
